A fairytale coming to life! That was the first line popping in my mind when I arrived to the Amalfi Coast.
Did you know that the Amalfi Coast is one of 55 Italian sites inserted on the UNESCO World Heritage list?

The Amalfi coast is an area of great physical beauty and natural diversity. It has been intensively settled by human communities since the early Middle Ages. There are a number of towns such as Amalfi and Ravello with architectural and artistic works of great significance (Unesco.org)
The most beautiful little village that I saw was Positano. I was amazed by the colourful houses and mystic vibes from the mountains.

Practical info about Positano : The town is approximately a 75 minute drive away from Naples and twenty minutes away from Sorrento. You can also get to Positano by one of the buses run by the Sita coach company and, in the summer months, by boat.

The lemons from Amalfi are very known for their size. It is an essential ingredient in the gastronomy of the coast: the juice, the flesh, the peel, and even the leaves are used in the cuisine.

Another beautiful village from the Amalfi Coast, yet not that known is Praiano!

Also this village belongs to the “fairytale-family”

Marina di Praia is a characteristic beach set between two rock ridges, located in the lower part of Praiano and the only landing place of the Ancient Plagiunum. Due to its particular nature, the beach is lit only for a few hours of the day (simplyamalficoast.it)

Some nice bars in Praiano: Voce ‘e Notte, Grill and Sunset Bar, Il Pirata… but in my opinion basically every bar has something charming in this beautiful village!

There are a lotttt of mountains and stairs in Praiano! So be prepared for the many up-hill walks! But I can promise you that the view will always be worth to walk ✨

I also went to the village of Amalfi. This is a colourful and historical centre where you can enjoy your time in one of the many bars or beaches.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post! Stay tuned for the next ones 💖
